Of course you know, you are just being sucked in by a media campaign by yahoo and hotmail, don't you?
Do you actually think there is any difference between the privacy offered among the different providers?
Actually read through the link posted. Anybody with a minimum knowledge regarding how web based email works, knows that every provider actually scans on an automated manner emails sent, and those are just trumped up charges, to try to scare you off of an e-mail system that actually offers more value than the rest.
You should probably also know that the website is hosted and promoted by "Daniel Brandt", a person who has long been known for having a conflict of interest, and a personal vendetta against google, theoretically due to google's PageRank system, because this system does not rank his pages high enough in the search results...
