Having been back in the states now for almost two years, after living in Madrid for about 1 1/2 years, one of the things I miss the most is the down time. One of my favorite memories is when I was sitting on my balcony in my little efficiency apartment, sipping on a glass of sidra, sketching some of my favorite out-of-the-way spots, and people watching. All of a sudden, the sky opened up and a sun-shower began, sending the street walkers scurrying for shelter. Fortunately, the rain was coming straight down, so I could still sit and watch as the rain cleansed the city, and brought this fresh, new feeling to everything. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I can't wait to do it again.

Hey Tall Bri. Man... your post hit the spot. I hereby invite you to my apt. during the next sunshower to observe the tourist scurrying to shelter under the arches of the Plaza
Those showers are the best, especially when you have your camera ready as I always do and get photos like these afterwards:
Another way to get the tilde and all the accents is by setting up your keyboard to be international. How do you do this you ask, it is very simple, from the start menu go to settings, click on control panel, double click on the keyboard icon, click on the tab that says language, it should read united states, make sure that the English(United-)States) is high lighted, then click on properties, you will see a grey screen that says keyboard layout, it will probably just say United States, click on the arrow to the right and select United States-International, then click appky, it may ask you for the windows cd or disk, but once it is installed all you have to do is click onthe lower right alt key at the same time you click the n and you will have the , also works for , , , and it is very quick. Sorry to goon and on thougth you might like to know.
