Muy buenas.
Firstly- This board is THE BEST in the world! I am on it daily as after living in Madrid for almost 2 years it is the only thing that satisfies my obsession :l: (surprised my boss hasnt sacked me!)..nothing else comes close...nice one Jer! I would love to do something like this myself but as I couldnt possibly compete with this I wont bother, but please do let me know if I can be of assistance in any way!

Secondly- I'm going back!!!! IN TWO WEEKS!!!! Big Grin I am so happy I could cry, even though it is only for a short time I feel as though I am going back to where I belong...my heart will always be there for sure. Ay, tengo tantas ganas! What is it about that place?! I certainly agree with the saying..'de Madrid al cielo'. I am SO jealous of everybody who lives there.

Thirdly- Do they still do 'Cortylandia' at Christmas? Silly question I know, but as my classroom was right next to it I dont think I will ever get the song out of my head!
Chao for now!

hey guys, Rucita is absolutley right about the board. It has a very authentic feel to it. Madrid is the best city. Sometimes it bothers me that people that only have time to be in Madrid for a few says always come back saying that it was fun but they loved barcelona, or they loved florence. I think that Madrid is a city that has to accept you rather than you accepting it and when that happens, you understand how truly warm, and enchanting the city is. Don't mind the sensitive talk, but Madrid really put a hold on me. SO anyways i had mentioned that I will be returning there after nine month respite on the 21st of march until april 6th. If anyone wants to meet up or anything then we should arrange it. Thanks.

Perhaps we should all have MultiMadrid badges (buttons) or hats to wear so we can recognise each other. Wink

Seventeen more days to go, and counting :jeje:

Glory, glory to the hibees . . .

Multimadrid badges...now that is a good idea! Big Grin As would multimadrid meet ups in cities around the world. This way, those of us who aren't fortunate to be in Madrid to meet the rest of you could actually meet each other and share memories!

By the way..thank you to all of you who replied to my first post- I now feel welcome and will be posting more often from now on!

8 days to go je je!!
