Am sitting here feeling very depressed because a) I have a stinking cold and b) am too conscientious to stay off work more than one day so decided to look through old threads about Spain etc to cheer me up. And it worked - kinda (except for making me wish I was there now) . After much coming and going, are we/aren't we, we shall be in Madrid for five days from 17th March - and I cannot wait. Last time we were in Madrid, however, I had trouble with my Ladies and Gents toilets . . . especially after a few of those Damm fine beers . . . :lo: Am determined not to make same mistake this time! Have so much I want to see, and as ever, so little time . . . and I know that when I get there I'll just want to chill and do nothing!
And hey, when I next want to sneeze, I'll just think of telling everyone how I'll be staying in the Aresol and seeing their faces (a very British joke!)

okay, the aresol joke flew past my southern american head, but i have a sure fire solution for the toilet problem. if you see a urinal, you are in the wrong place. a) if there is a lock on the door, lock it and don't fret. b) if there is not a lock on the door, leave and tell any curious onlookers you were buscando mi novio.
