Hi! I've been to Moore's (Irish Pub close to Plaza Mayor) in New Years Eve for the first time. I had a great time : nice place, friendly staff and fantastic clients, international ambiance.I'd like to know if every day or weekend is like this..

Thanks

Hi caranday, welcome to the board!!! Big Grin

I have been to Moore's but just for a pint or 2 with friends and not on New Year's.

It is not nearly as packed on the average night as it is on New Year's Eve but you will generally find an mixed crowd there (as well as at most of these types of pubs in the center of Madrid.

Generally there is a mix of Brits, Irish, Americans, Aussies, Kiwis as well as quite a few Spaniards as they are drawn by the fact that Irish and English pubs are quite different from your typical Spanish bar.

Saludos,
jer...

Like Jer sais it's a nice place, if you're in town and need to speak English or plead for help they are generally very good, it's a nice escape if you're Spained out.
