Hey Michelita, hope your thesis is coming along well. Maybe when you are finished you can send it to me and I can puclish it here on multimadrid Once again, the answer here is simpler than it seems... to internalize = "interiorizar" Just in case I am off on my understanding of the word meaning in English, here is the REA dictionary definition... quote: 1. tr. Incorporar a la propia manera de ser, de pensar y de sentir, ideas o acciones ajenas. 2. prnl. Entrar en uno mismo. 3. prnl. Chile. compenetrarse (identificarse con ideas y sentimientos ajenos).
Saludos, jer... p.d. I also double checked in my Collins Spanish-English/English-Spanish dictionary and it is there as well.

Thanks Jer.... That was what I had guessed it was, but then it did not appear in my enormous Larrousse Dictionary, so I figured it must no tmbe right. But yup, that is the word Im looking for As for publishing the thesis on Multimadrid, I think you would loose half your readers....Its not an overly fascinating topic. In fact, the most common response when I tell people what its about: "its about the evolucion of the representation and use of the city of Madrid in the novels of Galdos" is something like: "mmm, well, ok, you have fun with that, then" BUt perhaps if in inquiring minds Really want to know....

Congratulations, Michelita! That's a great achievement. Aren't you glad it is all over. It seems that while you are writing a thesis or dissertation your life is on hold somehow. You feel guilty if you take a break and have fun, but a break is what you desperately need! I know that blessings will rain down on you for your perseverance and fortutide! :ks:
