I am trying! (yeah, I know very trying!!!!) I am putting all the forums up that I belong to, and trying to see what exactly it is I am having a problem with on here. I hope it is not just that I liked the "old format" !!!!!!! Honestly, I do like change One thing already though, on this reply, when I go to use, for example, the bold type, my curser goes back to the beginning of my reply, and I have to keep remembering to move it back to the end of my message before carrying on typing.

sue, now you really got me confused when i use the bold text in a message like this, the cursor does not jump back anywhere. after the bold word or words are inserted, the cursor goes where it should be, to the end of the message where i continue to type normally. what DOES happen is that the screen (the text input window) shoots up to the post beginning when you add the bold text, is that what you mean? if you check however, you will see that your cursor stays where it should, at the end of the message. this SHOULD NOT AFFECT YOU since the cursor is where it should be, alll you need to do is continue typing and the screen (the text input window) will correct itself and shoot back down and adjust to where the cursor is. try and you will see. WHATEVER HAPPENS JUST KEEP TYPING, THE SCREEN WILL CORRECT ITSELFsaludos, jer...

hey all, been a loooooong time since i posted here. well, the new board is finally back up to the number of visits, page views, etc... of where the old one left off and in fact, it has surpassed it by a bit with the crash of the old board and the 3 weeks downtime, a loss of visits was expected but it is my pleasure to anounce that all is back to normal and up to par. hope those who were afraid of the new software and look are now over it also, as i have stated on many ocasions, this new software is the future. for those of you who did not believe me, it was confirmed yesterday when i received the following e-mail from the company that provides my board software... quote: Hello UBB.classic and UBB.threads Existing License Holder! Deadline 10/30/05 As you already know, later this winter, UBB.Classic and threads will no longer be offered as a NEW product and future upgrades and patches will no longer be done, so I’d like to take a brief moment to tell you about a promotion Infopop, now known as Groupee Corp, is offering our current classic users, which I think is very exciting. Groupee is offering up to 4 free months of service on regular class and 2 months free on business class plans using the new Groupee community when you switch over from classic to the Groupee Community. http://www.groupee.com/features/The benefits are many, but with the hosted ASP Groupee package you get the following features in an easy to use, admin friendly, and more powerful platform. Forums MySQL Database Phone Customer Support Option PHP Photo Galleries Attachments Content Ratings Email Digests Email Notifications Private Topics Instant Topics Advanced Search Single Sign On Capability Using OneCommunity API Live Chat Premium Membership (Allowing you to generate revenue through your members) Private Directories *Blog/Publication Tool *Magazine Mode *Mobile-Blogs *Pod-Casts * Features available Winter 2005. In addition, we’ll migrate your existing UBB.Classic or threads members and posts over to your new community for you for free. This promotion lasts for only until October 30th, so I urge you not to hesitate. We are not taking away your existing community just providing a way to upgrade to a more advanced product.
so, basically this means that anyone who is using the old board software (UBB.Classic) will not longer be able to upgrade to newer versions. if they want to keep with the times, they will have to change to the new software. this will not affect us as i upgraded months ago since i am, after all, ahead of my time their days are numbered! saludos, jer...

hey sue. don't freak on us now! i am making some changes to the look of the board to make it more esthetically pleasing and easier to access other areas like the chat and new classifieds service currently, nothing has changed with regards to the calendar on most forums (scroll to the top of this page and you will see it is as it was) but on the main forum page ( http://spaintalk.multimadrid.org/eve/forums) the calendar is no longer there. if you want to see the calendar and worship the devil, you can click the "events calendar" link on the new menu at page top of http://spaintalk.multimadrid.org/eve/forums and soon to be all other forums. so, yes, all forums will not have the exact same uniform look until i complete the changes. i will advise when all changes have been implemented. saludos, jer...
