My students today really enjoyed looking through your web site and kept asking me if Spain really looked like that. If any other teacher would like to see my questions and the assignment that I used, please Email me and I will be more than happy to share.
In a nutshell, the students had to find out about:
1. transportation in Madrid 2. the METRO (Look for stops and tell what line they are on) 3. Look at 360 panoramics of Prado Museum and Retiro Park and describe what they see. 4. Look at pictures of the Royal Palace and describe the architecture.
Fun was had by all and thanks so much Jer for a great website that can be used in the classroom.

Hey shawn, thanks loads for proving that my site can be used as a didactical tool as well as simply being fun
No wonder you are such an awesome Spanish teacher

So glad that you were able to show some Americans what Spain is truly like and break with some of the beliefs that I encountered when teaching high school, mostly that Spain was somewhere next to Mexico and was a third world country
It was my pleasure. Next Monday, students will learn about Puerto Rico and complete some of the same activities, but with different monuments. I just want them to see that there is a different world out there filled with many wonderful things and that there is life outside of Richmond, Virginia.
They will visit your site again and thanks for such interesting information. I was amazed that it kept the kid's attention.
KUDOS, JER. KUDOS.
