To my awesome surprise, they have included multimadrid in their updated information which comes out between issues of the guidebook and then is incorporated into the actual book itself.
Madrid A virtual city tour with 1000 photos, Spanish music, chat and message board www.multimadrid.com
While they forgot to mention the live Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol webcams I was so glad they mentioned the message board and honored to appear at all
My thanks to everyone at the LONELY PLANET (some truly dedicated world watchers ) and to everyone (YOU) who has helped make multimadrid what it is today, the best Madrid website online
I am all choked up right now so I must go.
Saludos, jer...
p.d. I can't wait to get my hands on the 4th edition of the Lonely Planet Spain guide and see the real deal.
You knew it was coming sooner or later. Now your site has to be maintained for all of the newcomers who will be visiting. Your site is #1 and the others are just followers.
You have seen your hard work and determination pay off and the rewards are great and enjoying reaping the benefits.
You made a life for yourself in Madrid and are a true shining example to others. Keep the light on and guide others to Madrid.
Have a blessed day,
Shawn

Congratulations, Jer! This truly is a wonderful web site. I checked this and the other web site often before I took my trip to Spain this past April. I got lots of valuable and fun information. I still haven't seen every single thing on your web site - so much good stuff and not enough time!!
I especially love the web cam in the Plaza Mayor. My son lives across the street from the Calle Mayor entrance to the Plaza. Everytime I check the Plaza web cam I feel close to him even though he's so far away. We once "rendezvoued" on the web. That was fun to see him wave to me, live, on my computer screen! It made my day. I just know that he'll be checking your web site long after he's gone back to UC Berkeley to resume his studies this coming fall.
Keep up the good work, Jer, ya done good! Saludos, Mama Chula

Gracias to all of you who make the site and board so much fun. I am really just a pawwn in the abyss that is the Internet but I will continue to do my best to keep downloading Madrid to the world
Im really glad that I printed out the extra Lonely Planet pages. I didnt realize that they added your website until a few days before we saw you. I figured you already knew that you were in it. CONGRATULATIONS! I really enjoy this website.
We really enjoyed meeting you and Rachel!
Let me know if you have any secret camera fixing tips!!!
Saludos from Granada!!!
