First of all, sorry for diverting your attention from the more interesting thread
"It was about time!", but I can't wait any longer to do this suggestion: if this site is supposed to be "an useful place" for those seeking information about Madrid and Spain, why not having times expressed in the usual European way (Military times, as I think you say in the U.S.)? Everybody would soon get used to it, and they won't find any trouble when looking at clocks or timetables in Madrid (or anywhere in Europe). Even more, it is a less ambiguous method that the AM-PM one, and, as anyone interested in IT would agree, you get the same information with less code.

Once again, you impressed me!! Thank you for taking my suggestion into account. I hope this change doesn't mean great trouble to anybody. Just in case, please remember that any time lower than 12:00 is the same AM time, and any time over 12:00 is PM: you can get the PM time subtracting 12 hours (e.g.: 17:20 -> 17-12=5 -> 17:20=5:20 PM).

Hey Max, thank you for suggesting it, I think it is a great idea. I really do not think that many people actually pay much attention to the time of the post anyway but since the site is hosted here in Europe and is about Spain, I guess it is only fitting that it be on the 24 hour clock Big Grin

I always knew how to use the 24 hour clock when I was growing up in the U.S.A. (ther it is often called "military time" for obvious reasons) and I think that the vast majority of the board visitors will get a kick out of it. Something new to learn is always a good thing Smiler
