As for the Web2Mail and being able to check mail form any PC, I have my own webmail server at: http://mail.onspanishtime.com:8383 and myself, ena, my mom and board member tonytorero have accounts there. The best of both worlds and with no advertising.
Scene:[Tonytorero looking into the camera...speaking with a really strong Kansas accent.] I was wandering the information superhighway, lost and alone until I got my onspanishtime.com email account and now I'm one with the universe...! Wink Red Face Big Grin

Just kidding... The account works wonders and is perfect for me. I'd recommend it to anyone who's trying to escape from the evil clutches of Hotmail, Yahoo, etc... Roll Eyes

Hi Jeremy,
You site has artistic Pizzazz... I just love the Enter button being Dali's painting of the Clock, you made a lovely metaphor...Time...Telephone... anyway it clicks for me!
the top graphics are beautiful, I love the way they go from a line drawing to a photograph, very eye catching.
The sentence that sold me was
quote:
If you do not use cell phones at home, renting one for a trip to Spain can give you unbelievable peace of mind.

Quite frankly, looking back,I should have rented a phone, but was too busy at the last minute, and you do not know how many times I regretted not renting one. I was afraid that having a phone would make me look like a guiri, but when I got to spain, EVERYONE had a movil, I was conspicuous because I did not have one. You can believe that I will rent one next year, when I visit Madrid!

I also love the testimonial section, very impressive!

All in all Jeremy, as a consumer I see your site as very informational, convincing, professional yet at the same time artisitic.

Well done!

Man! Now THAT is what I call feedback Big Grin

Thanks Booklady

You know it is funny, most of the Spaniards I ask to identify the image in my logo can not, however, 9 out of 10 foreigners who are interested in Spain hit the nail on the head with that painting (one of my favorites by the way).

And harfly anyone ever gets the Time...Telephone idea, glad you saw deeper into it Smiler

The truth is that the business has really taken off, even to the point that I have not been able to spend as much time on multimadrid as I used to Frowner

I am delivering 70+ phones to the United States Equestrian Team ( www.uset.org ) and 2 Canadian teams in 2 weeks to Jerez de la Frontera (Cdiz, Andaluca) for the World Equestrian Games ( www.jerez2002weg.org ) and am psyched. Will deliver on Friday and spend the weekend down there with ena :l:

As you say Booklady, EVERYONE here has a cell phone, it is hard to find a kid over the age of 14 yrs. without one. Recent statistics (and I am usually not one to quote stats.) here in Spain indicate that almost 2/3 of all Spaniards have a cell phone. Europe in general is so much more wired than the U.S.A. in this area.

Sooo true, you could stand out for not having one Red Face

I remember once before I had a cell phone and was hanging out with a Spanish friend of mine. He had no battery left in his phone and said to me..."Djame tu mvil to" ("Let me use your mobile phone man") and he looked at me as if I had 4 heads when I said I did not have one. Although he was exaggerating a bit that was years ago and if that happened these days he would die laughing.

Glad that phrase worked for you Smiler Some people want to rent but they feel that if they do they will be seen as someone who can not "disconnect", then they come over and spend 3 hours a day in the internet cafs Eeker Truth is, renting a phone does not mean one can not disconnect. With all the busted payphones around here, the mega high hotel phone rates, etc..., the phone is really a great alternative.

Saludos,
jer...
