I'm headed to BCN and the Costa Blanca in Nov, but with any luck at all, I'll be interviewing for a job in Madrid that week, too. I'll being you as MUCH cheese as you'd like, Jer, if that happens. I'll keep you posted! Meanwhile, send me some job vibes? I sure could use 'em.
Hey Mermaid, good luck on your interview in Madrid!
"Good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes, good job vibes!" All for you D
Paulandirene, thank you SO much for the Kellogs Nutrigrain bars envelope, the apple & cinnamon ones were a religious experience
Saludos, jer...
p.d. I feel like I am back in college getting care packages
Ok, so I know some of you New Yorkers are heading over soon and I would like to BEG & PLEAD (I will only lower myself for one thing) for some BAAAAAGEEEEELLLLSSS!!!
If you can get them the day you leave or the night before they would be freshest. Not to worry, I can freeze them here.
PLEEEEEEEAAAAASSSSEEE!!! I am having withdrawl symptoms!!!
All types are welcome but "everything" bagels are preferred.
Of course, I love you, Jer! I can't send bagels, but how about Brownie and Bisquick mix? Let me know anything else, I was getting my "Adopted Son appreciation package and was going to e-mail you, anyway."
But, if I happen to leave by way of NYC and have time I will bring bagels in December! :ks:

Do you like the brownie mixes? I remember now that my gf wants me to bring her like 20 boxes.
Wait...now that I think about it. I've read on here there is a store that sells American food stuffs, like marshmellows and things like that. Does anyone know if it sells the brownie mixes?

My apt. has a nice store room (directly across from my front door!) and still virtually empty as we don't have any 'Trastos' to put in the Trastero- that could work nicely for a war room!
Myself, on this trip I'm rather limited- as I need to bring my clothes mostly (and I'm a girl LOTS of clothes! ) but I have backups coming in december and will be ordering
For those brownie lovers- takes a bit more effort to make- but with just the Hershey's cocoa powder you can make some killer chocolate treats! I'm still trying to figure out if I can manage to bring a mammoth size bag of chocolate chips from sams club!
