Sat and drummed my fingers; saw no little hourglass indicating "working on it", and could not get the search thing to work. So I will ask my possibly redundant question where it fits.

The search function is automatically turned off once in a while so the server and board software can update the database of threads. That must be what is happening right now.
Ok, so the search function on my board is "jodido" once again !
No biggie, I e-mailed customer support for my board software and they said it is a bug that kicks in when the board gets popular and begins to have lots of threads and posts.
I guess that is good since it means we are growing as a community
To fix the problem I have to upgrade to the latest software version which has an improved search engine and no bugs.
I will be upgrading at some time this weekend and will have to shut the board down temporarily (only an hour or so) in order to upgrade.
Sorry Sarita, I have been mega busy with biz and planning the BarBQ for this Saturday. Promise to get to the search function this weekend. Should be fixed by Monday
Until then, just look through every single thread on the board
Don�t laugh but I have only just realised (after 8 months of using this board!!) that some of the topics run to more than the page I see on the screen :b: So, I thought I would search for La Mallorquina that I should see/go to or whatever on my short short stay in Madrid!!!
