just a quick note to tell you that you can now search for and book spain hotels and hostels (anywhere in spain) via my website
the hotel bookings engine that i am working with set this all up for me and it is a great opportunity for those coming to spain to support my website since i get a commission on every night booked via multimadrid.
all you have to do is book via my accommodations section at http://www.multimadrid.com/accommodations/ or click on the following image at the top of all the forum pages...
not all cities in spain are covered but they have a very good selection, including the islands
the cool thing is that people comign to spain or already here (in your case) are going to book their hotels anyway so they may as well do it here and hlep out multimadrid at the same time.
Hey Jer' don't forget Phil @ Scarlett Macaw....I, as well as 8 other people will use him to book our rooms during San Fermin.....since you led me to him seems fair you should get a bit of $$$$ . . .. and since I haven't booked rooms yet you can still get in on some dinero.....
y desde el club de los humildes rescatar aquellos besos que he tirado sin amar
what does booking your hotel via Phil have to do with using my bookings engine.
if you bok through Phil, i will not make a eurocent on your rooms.
i sent you to him since he specializes in the san fermines and the basque country.
if you can find out the hotel he will book for you guys and then book it directly through my accommodations section, great but if it means hurting Phil's business or paying more for the rooms, stick with his booking service which i assume is part of the whole tour he offers.
Quick question: Does the hotel booking system have anything to do with the disappearance of the three scroll boxes at the top of the page that used to display the most recent messages, the most recent new messages, and the most recent new members?

I understand now. Safari has an issue with IFRAMEs which is what the "New Topics" and "Recent Posts" are now sitting inside. I'm not sure if they were inside IFRAMEs before. Anyway, Safari can't deal with IFRAMES being set to 100% either width or height and changes it to 0. Yep, 0. In order to fix it you have to set it to an actual pixel size.
In other words, your code would have to be changed as follows:
A pain, I know. I'm hoping Apple fixes the problem with the next Safari version that's coming soon.
It's not a big deal for me since I can easily create bookmarks to the otherwise invisible New Posts, New Topics pages but it might be nice for others using Safari.

one thing, not to get off the hotel booking subject but you wrote...

i did not change anything with the scrollers. they have always been in the iframes. all i did was remove one, replaced it with the hotel animation and shifted one over. thought your "now sitting inside" meant that they were not before the changes but they were.
hey jer...i am glad you dumped the new members scroll for the hotel thing....much more useful. don't know about anyone else....but it is loathesome to see all those new "mm-ers" that sign up only to remain invisible.
this board needs some shaking up! up with nipples, down with lurking inconsequently!
oops...i'm still reeling from the other thread...and trying to provoke tj. jajaja
