I had heard about those statues rough finish ("acabado" in English is "finish" or "finished" rather than ended
) being due to the fact that they were meant to go on top of the Palace. Makes sense I guess.
On the other hand, you just tought me something new with that
PLAZA DE ORIENTE history. I guess with the Royals being the center of the universe and the
PALACIO REAL being their home (one of them), it is only fit that everything be named using them as the centerpoint
