I will be in Madrid twice this month. I like bars with piano players, where people get involved, such as the one "Cuchilleros" (I think) off Plaza Mayor. I would like to find other alternatives and variations.
Recommendations, please?
Muchas gracias
Elvira

You should try the Chesterfield Caf in calle Serrano Jover. Here you can find live gigs every night with great music variety. Its good fun in a place where you can also have dinner while you watch the concert. Afterwards they take away the tables and they change the same place into a disco!

Hey Elvira, you will love the "Caf Central" in Plaza del Angel (just off the Plaza de Santa Ana). They have concerts and the atmosphoere there is great.
On Saturday nights it costs 12 to get in due to the concerts (mostly Jazz/Blues) but get there early for a good table.
Hi Elvira, try going to Caf Populart, calle Huertas (don't remember the number, but if you ask, anyone will know), there are very good concerts, the prices are affordable, the waiters very nice, and the atmosphere is great!
