Has anybody been to new CaixaForum on Paseo de Prado? It looks incredible in the photos (especially compared to that dreadful new Prado building) and the activities seem very interesting.
I want to visit it soon to see the "vertical garden" and an exhibit of a Polish sculptor Igor Mitoraj which was inaugurated yesterday (will last until mid April).

Yes, I´ve been there. I got to visit it before it was inaugurated at a special La Caixa dinner. Very cool inside with wide open spaces. There is a floor with extremely modern art (like rocks in a circle on the floor. still don´t get that stuff...) and then a floor with photographs and a really cool exhibit wiht brass instruments smashed flat and hanging from the ceiling (you´ll know it when you see it). The vertical garden is spectacular!
