Looking for something different in Madrid for your next trip? Take a look at http://www.geocities.com/flamencopure/. We were in Madrid with girls (5 & 8) who take dance lessons in the US. we wanted to expose them to Spanish dance. We arranged lessons with Raquel Quijano. Although from what we saw most of her students are adults, she did a great job with the children. They thoroughly enjoyed the lessons. I suspect adults would too. She is a very nice person, speaks enough English to teach, and really seems to care. Big Grin

Hi Ernesto, thanks again for checking in after your trip.

Great tip on those dance lessons. Being the internet addict that I am Big Grin , I investigated the site you posted about above and deduced from Raquel's e-mail address that her site is part of a bigger one at www.jmorao.com.

Is this a sickness or do others do this as well! Eeker

Saludos,
jer...

p.d. I love the way you take vacations Ernesto, not many people get as into the culture as you seem to, congrats!

I studied for a semester in southern Spain and my biggest regret was that I did not take the dancing classes that were offered! Yes, I learned the language but now as I look back I really wish that I had studied the dancing. Ernesto, you gave your daughters a wonderful gift during your family trip! Thanks for the info / the link to the site.
