Hi everyone. I live in the picturesque village of Navacerrada north of Madrid. I have a nice 3 bedroom flat which I share with two others. I have a spare bedroom which is tiny (room for a bed...but not enough room to swing the proverbial cat).If you want a weekend exploring the mountains and maybe some skiing (10 mins up the road by car) then you would be welcome to come for the weekend...cheaper than a hotel!! I can provide meals (qualified chef no less!!!)and a log fire to sit in front of after a days activity in the mountains.

Hey brian, jer here.

Way too cool, I was just talking to my girlfriend about taking her skiing for the first time this winter. I am a proficient on the "sticks" but she has never gon and I though that Navacerrada would be a perfect place for her to get a feel for one of my favorite sports Big Grin . Thought if she likes it I will take her to Sierra Nevada, Los Picos or Andorra next year.

I know you may not want to post it here but can you give my visitors who may be interested a general price for let's say Friday afternoon until Sunday evening at your cozy little place there?

Just to orient people although I am sure they will e-mail you individually if they are interested.

I thank you for posting this great opportunity and am sure you will get loads of visitors (myself included Smiler ).

Saludos,
jer...

I want to go along on that ski trip when you go. I would have to plan a little more than a weekend because of my location in southern Arizona. Did you know that the southern most ski area in the U.S. is just out of Tucson Az., on mount Lemmon? Lots of thrills and sometime spills going up there. Two lanes from the desert floor up to the pines. My wife won't go up there without a fifth of booze and a blindfold.

The weather chart below will tell you that the person that put in the ski area must have been NUTS. There is good rock skiing.

Hey Arnie, sounds like some killer powder days down there Eeker

Actually, I want to plan a nice 10 day trip to either Sierra Nevada, Picos de Europs or Andorra for next ski season so I will keep you updated, maybe you can indeed "cruzar el charco" and join us (literally "cross the puddle" but often used to mean cross the ocean).

Saludos,
jer...

p.d. Hey, maybe a big multimadrid ski trip is in order for all my visitors who love to ski as much as they love Spain Big Grin
