This is an ongoing thing at least until the end of 2004, not just for holidays.
As for reference prices you can note the following: One person: 15�/per night for accomodation only 17�/per night for bed & breakfast 22�/per night for accomodation + half-board. All meals are organic food.
Two persons sharing the room: 20�/per night for accomodation only 23�/per night for bed & breakfast 32�/per night for accomodation + half-board
Anyway, these are just for reference. Prices are VERY negotiable. To barter skills is also an option. So the best is to see the place, chat about your wants and then we can find an agreement. Price will not be an issue.
All this in a friendly atmosphere, in a recently refurbished flat.
Oh! And your host is a local tourguide and cook who will be glad to facilitate your experience in Madrid with valuable information. For free, of course.

It all began by hosting my foreign friends when they were visiting Madrid. Hosting people is something I love, so now I've decided to offer this beyond my circle of friends.
