Ivanna. It is usually better to live closer to the center and commute to your school. I am not sure if your school is located at Moncloa or Cantoblanco. If it is at Moncloa there are plenty of buses and the metro that will get you there pretty quicky from just about anywhere in or near the center. If it is the campus at Cantoblanco you will want to find something close to the Cercania line which runs from Atocha, Recoletos, Nuevos Ministerios, Chamartin, up to Cantoblanco.
