First try searching the sleeping "siestas" between "fiestas" of this forum, the In Madrid www.in-madrid.com and the Segundamano www.segundamano.es for the latest stuff out on the market. Then if your friend can not find her dream place right away and is willing to stay someplace better / cheaper than a hostel short term while she looks for her dream place she can contact me at info@madridinsider.com and I will give her some different housing search options.

hey Angelo, long time no hear. no excuses, i know for a fact that you have dsl in your apt. i agree with Madrid Insider above. do your homework (or have your friend do it) and you will see there are plenty of rooms out there. if she can't find anything long term so fast, have a look at www.madridrooms.cjb.net , a good quick/temp. fix so she can have time to look for something more long term. saludos, jer...

Sorry guys... I really should have done a better job searching before I posted. Jer, you're right... I have no excuse. I know I haven't been too active on the board or otherwise lately, but I have been really overwhelmed with my TEFL course. Luckily it ends tomorrow, so I may be suggesting an mm gathering soon so that I can get back in the loop! Thanks for replying to my post either way guys... I really appreciate the help!
