Hi all,
Well my old flat is finally fixed and ready to be rented out again. I don't live there anymore but I've inherited rental duties...anyhoot, the scooop:

Pluses
-Large studio in Tirso de Molina, across from the Magdelena exit of the Tirso metro.
-Furnished with bed, futon, table, some kitchen stuff.
-Lots of light, high ceilings.
-L-shaped floor plan so there is a bit of privacy between the sleeping and living areas.
-First floor.
Minuses
-I won't kid you...it's noisy during the day. The buses run in front and well, it is a Spanish plaza.
-No heat (though there are two electric heaters and butano heater)
The minuses are why the price is so low.

Who should live here?
-A single working person or a couple (it is way too intimate a space to share with a roomie).
-Someone who loves the center...5 min walk to Sol, 5 min walk to La Latina, 5 min walk to Lavapies.

What do we want?
-First month's rent plus aval of 900
-A minimum 6 month commitment.

Anyway, if you are interested or know someone who is, let me know asap. The place will be ready Jan 1.

hey Candela, thanks for the flat offer.

one question, does the 900 need to be an "aval" or can it just be a "fianza"? (security deposit in cash).

i ask because an actual aval via a bank is not so easy to get for many.

also, is there an existing phone line or would the person have to put one in?

saludos,
jer...

Thanks jer....the aval...could be a fianza...as in cash.

There is a phone line that was shut off during the 8 month vacancy of the place, but we are considering putting it back in. Why do I say considering...because we need to know that whomever rents the place will indeed take responsibility for paying the phone bill. Of course, the rentee, could always have it reconnected in their name, which as you know costs a couple of hundred.

Cheers, Candela
