This is a great website that helps you find a hotel that allows furry guests! I used it a few weeks ago to find a hotel in Granada and we had absolutely no problems.

*I have absolutely no monetary attachment to this website at all! I just think it's cool as a dog owner and wanted to share it.

I booked marked it as well, it's very hard to find a place that accpets pets here. One chaine that does accpet pets is accor hotels. A few years ago we spent a month in Barcalona and the only hotel that accpeted pets was way out in the middle of no where. One chain that accpets pets always is accor hotels (Formula 1 Ibis Mercure etc). Even when we moved here we had problems finding temporay digs that accpeted pets.

When I was looking at this site, I noticed that they have a "pets welcome" (mascotas bienvenidas) section:

notodohoteles--pets welcome

It looks like there are a lot of places, if you know where to look.

Before dog we happily stayed in Sol Melia hotels (booking those Wednesday night specials) whenever we travelled. Now, since she found her way into our lives on a street in Córdoba we have had to find other options! I don't think Spain is that bad in not accepting dogs at hotels. In Canada you can't even bring a dog onto a restaurant patio!

mariposita - thanks for the other link!!!
