Hola, Jer you are so right, when my daughter did the Canterbury TEFL she had accomodation not far from Atocha station, it was next door to several bars and about 20mins from the school. It was shared, 3 of them, but they had plenty of room to move and everything they needed including TV, Video and phone. The rent was reasonable too.
