I have checked all the websites available and have seen nothing suitable at all. I am currently subletting a room for 2 weeks - ending next week. It´s a shame because I am staying in a great place with a great flatmate but the owner is back next week and the room is hers!

I would stay on top of those websites-they change daily. I found my flat in one day-called almost as soon as it was posted and was the first person to see it. Also, wander around the area you want to look in-you will see LOTS of alquiler signs.

hey mel34.

i am with schwendy here, there is tons of good stuff out there. ok, it is a bad time to look since all the students are now back in madrid but there is still a LOT available.

as for the http://www.in-madrid.com/classifieds site, the rooms offered there now are probably all snagged as they only update once a month and today is the 28th.

i would advise you check their accommodations offered section around the 1st of nov. as the ads will be fresh.

you can get your hands on a hardcopy of the paper on nov 1st if you prefer.

saludos,
jer...
