We'll be close to each other. I'll be living in La Latina, right across the street from Wendy. Shawn

rents seems to have jumped in the last year or so. When we took our place rents (outside of the city) were arouind 900 to 950 a month but in talking to friends who've moved recently you now looking at 1200 for a 2-3 bedroom place. ouch that's steep.

Tim, Not that bad if you rent out the other rooms. I will be paying 400 for a room in La Latina and that's a steal because everything is included, even Internet. Shawn

You make it sound like Donald would do it for free or something. No. He provides a phone calling and appointment setting service and will charge you anything up to one month's rent. There are plenty of people who will help you find a place if you pay them especially one full month's rent. This could be an okay option if you do not have the language skills or friends to help you do it yourself.

hey Donald, loooooong time no hear man. sorry it took this to get you active on the board. out of curiosity, if you find a full apt. for a couple or family and say the rent is 1,500 euros a month, how much would your finders fee be? i seem to recall years ago it was half a months rent for that and you used to charge 50 euros to help people find rooms in shared flats. also, you will recall i used to send you people who were looking for rooms in shared flats and our agreement was that you were to pay me 10 euos per person of the 50 you charged them. for the record, 3 (?) years later i am still owed 80 euros by your organization as for the full months rental fee to find a place, that is pretty standard for real estate agencies that find rentals for people so i do not see anything wrong with it if people are willing to pay it. saludos, jer...
