I�m a video student, currently not studying, instead working at a contemporary gallery in the Lavapies neighborhood. I�ve been here a week and I�m looking for a room to rent February through April. I have a friend here looking also and we could concievebly share a studio or one bedroom apt. Maybe around 500 euro for a possible apt/studio and up to 300 euro for a room. The more central the better, of course, but at least in the city... Anything furnished is a plus, I have nothing, but I guess I could live with nothing for a few months... I don�t know if it matters, but I speak Spanish, kind of a different type though, I learned in Nicaragua.

Considering that you only need the place for about 3 months it will be difficult to get some place for you and only your friend. The shorter the stay and the fewer the people the more expensive. Right now there is an offer for single rooms in a shared flat at Paseo del Prado, 46 near metro atocha close to the center. If you stay for a minimum of 3 months, the price is 350 euros a month with utilities included and free bonus internet when it works.
