Got a good laugh out if this (sent to me by a colleague of mine) and thought you might too.
Anyone who has lived in Masdrid and/or searched for housing here will get the joke...

I wonder where they are arriving from? Not British are they??! I ask, as yesterday I spent a very long day at the airport, it being the busiest day of the year for UK arrivals. You would be surprised the amount of people who had bought a (very expensive) flight to Lanzarote thinking they would pick up cheap accommodation when they arrived!!!!!
I just wanted to screetch "At Xmas!!!! In the most popular UK winter sun destination!!" What was quite sad, was that some of these people had young childen in tow, looking forward to a happy hols in the sun. They will be lucky to even find accommodation, let alone cheaply.
Of course, it all turns out its my fault (or any of the other reps they spoke to) they have nowhere to stay - after all they were told in the UK that it would be easy!!! I did offer one family a luxury villa I have free, at 1000 for the week and they laughed at me!!!

Good point madsue. I just looked again at the complete form and they are coming from Romania. I have never been to Romania personally but maybe it is much cheaper and that would explains the request.
Anywhooooooz, as Booklady said, they are in for a bit of a surprise.
