Hi everybody, my family is visiting Madrid once again in March. We are 2 adults and and 2 children around 10 years old. We like to stay between c/Juan Bravo and c/Ibiza, so more or less Goya/Salamanca area. We need 2 bedroom or large 1 bedroom with 2 double beds for 10 days. We prefer a flat, but open to suggestions.
Thank you for your time.

C'mon folks, let's see some of the old multimadrid spirit and ayudanos Smiler
It is hard for a family of 4 to book a room that accodomates them. Usually 3 person maximum. That is why I need your kind assistance.
Gracias

Have you tried www.infohostal.com They have apartments in Madrid, however the ones on Goya look to be only one bedroom. There are others on the site with two and three bedrooms.

toroloco how is your Spanish? If it's up to par, check out this listing on LOQUO .

I also suggest contacting Madrid Insider and am surprised that he hasn't responded to your post. Actually, maybe he hasn't responded because he doesn't have anything. I would try just in case.

If you need help with the Spanish, post here, I am sure someone will help you out!

Smiler

I personally do not know of anything that matches, but can give you a few landlord phone numbers and refer you to an agency or two that should be able to find you something if you are willing to pay a little more for their help.

Try Tatiana or Sylvia at 699-472-789 / 699-472-788
They own / have a combination of hostales and rooms in shared flats.

If you want agency help contact me at 669-804-530 or info@madridinsider.com and I will advise.

Thanks for the replies. Chica as ever, you are so helpful Smiler
I have not replied here because of the board troubles of late.
I will investigate the leads that have been left and update when possible.
btw, Spanish is clumsy, but I get by most of the time. My better half is the Madrilea so I have an excellent translator. We never impose on family, so rent we do every time we visit.
Chica, puedo asistir clases para una semana? No tengo problemas hablando castellano, lo que me moleste es cuando las palabras salen de mi boca!

Hi,

You might also try madridbandb.com. These are private homes and mostly in very nice areas. A friend of mine rents out rooms in her home through here.

Good luck! Smiler

Hey TOROLOCO, go to www.homexhange.com - - if you ,live in a nice area, you may find someone in Madrid to exchange their house for yours. They are usually quite nice apartments and/or houses and the people are generally a cut above the average Joe. My folks do homeexchange quite often and have nothing but good reports for it.

if you included madsue in the deal you could probably get a shack in Kentucky.. Without madsue, probably a penthouse in NY..... Red Face But it all depends on whether or not she was wearing her t-back and pasties!!

Thanks for the suggestions TJGuy. Jer, I'll trade with you. I will let you know the locale later.

btw, I am staying in Madrid in a nice apartment. It is a little pricy, but it has everything a family of four could want; all mod cons plus 2 nice bedrooms, ADSL. The price is less than most hotels, and even they won't let more than 3 people stay in 1 room.

When I finish my stay, I will post my recommendation.

Jer, I am glad I didn't go along and play futsal with you guys, my ACL is aching just hearing of your misfortune. I hope you feel better.
