hey all,
a friend in sevilla is thinking of squatting an apt that is in his building and has been abandoned for years. i am going down there for ten days and he wants to put me up there.
questions 1, 2, and 3

1) what is the deal with squatting in this country? i've heard two versions...a) illegally squat a place to avoid rent and stick around until the owner manages to kick you out or b) squat an abandoned place with no owner, fix it up, live there and boom after a zillion years it is yours
2) is it illegal for the squattee? can you get arrested? i mean...i don't need no stinkin badge hauling me away
3) anyone know of any abandoned pisos in madrid with a terrace and sky hookup???

xoxoxo c
