My contract runs out December 31st. Being that 2 of my flatmates are returning home before December ends, the landlady has now decided that she wants 4 completely new people and will not let those of us who are staying in Spain remain in the apartment. This is understandable but I would have liked it more if she had communicated that to us earlier...Ho Hum..Anyhoo
I'm looking for a place to crash for January and February while I search for work here and in the UK. My limit is 300 Euros.
One quick question. Another flatmate wants to stay Jan-Feb while looking for work as well. I have seen studios for 500 Euros. Does anyone think that a landlord would let two guys live in a studio??
Regards,
Mike

i definately have a studio coming up in feb that we could let two guys stay in..it is actually divided up so there is some semblance of privacy from the sleeping area to the living area. but it isn't available until feb.

How much is this two bedroom place, Candela? Is it the same one you mentioned before? If anyone out there is interested in sharing it with me when it comes up, I'll need somewhere in Feb.
hey Cervantes, it's the same place as she mentioned before (the studio).
i have been there and it is indeed big enough for 2. it is a studio but the layout is such that it would allow for 2 separate living areas and privacy for both people living there.
it is a nice place and definitely worth the price.
(insert "jer seal of approval" stamp here :jeje: )
Hey Mike...Looks like the studio WILL be available in January! I can't believe the workers have actually finished removing the andamios and patched the holes! We are going to paint it and refurnish it in December.
The price will be 480 per month. If you and your bud want it for two months, we won't even chg you a deposit, but let me know.
Also...I think it is fine for two people sharing temporarily or for a couple that sleeps in the same bed. I think it is too small for two people to make a go of it long time, so I don't think it will work for you Cervantes.
I am keeping my eyes out for you though! Promise!

I am extremely sorry for not posting any comments on this thread since Monday. The last days of the master are a fiasco.
It's not that we've done anything to the landlandy per se...She just wants 4 new people for a yearly contract. Two of my flatmates are leaving last week of Dec. and myself and my bud want to stay until end of Feb. She would rather have a secure 1 year cash flow rather than month by month tenants.
I gotta run...Candela..I'll shoot you an e-mail shortly.
Thanks!
Mihali
