Hi everyone,
I'll be living in Barcelona for two months this summer (June-August). I'll be studying Catalan there. I think the last thing I need to sort out is housing. The language school I'll be studying at will help set up housing. There are two options (I think these options are the same for most language schools): 1. living with a family and 2. living with other students. I am not sure that I want to live with a family, and living with other students would be fine, so long as they are Spanish (i.e. not American). But it sounds like the students the school puts you up with are foreigners who are studying Spanish, not actual Spanish students.
Anyway, I'm just wondering if it will be difficult to rent a room in Barcelona for 2 months. Does anyone know? Or is it a better idea to just take one of the housing options the school offers? Does anyone have any idea of the average range of prices for renting a room in Barcelona?

Thanks!
Leo

Hey Jer,
Thanks for that link! It's great. I think I'll probably just take my chances finding a place on my own.
