Just curious if anyone has heard of or better yet tried a cake called 'Sock It To Me Cake'? It was mentioned in a book that I just read and now I'm curious.

Besos,
Bonnie

never heard of it, but if you need supplies, i just found this shop
http://www.comercial-minguez.com/
which supplies baking materials/ingredients to local bakeries. it is open to the public and the woman who owns it is very helpful. lots of pans, Wilton stuff, 5 kilo bags of powdered sugar, etc....

Nanny, I am Jamaican, and Sock It To Me cake is a staple of Jamaican baking. It is wonderful. Try it - you will love it.
