I suppose you need to know what to order at Fat Tony's. I had take away food from there twice and both times I got an upset stomach from the greasy food and had to throw up. There is a lot of greasy, deep fried, fast food on the menu and you have to be careful of what items you combine with what. I am sure that if I did not get the mince sauce on the chips that I could have probably kept down the rest. Rocco.

i only tried the fish-n-chips and the batter was very thin and not light and crispy. it was also nearly burnt. the chips are the FURTHEST thing from english chips as i have ever seen. they were large english style chips but were soggy and blech! saludos, jer...

All of this talk about fish and chips is really making me hungry. We, in the South of the US, know that the best fish to fry is Lake Trout fried to a golden crisp with seafood breader. Those are the days. Ok, Jer. I have to have a fried chicken party one day with Texas Pete Hot Sauce. I know that Ena likes her's extra spicy. Shawn

Good observation, Angelo. Pork ribs are much cheaper than beef ribs. Shawn

If memory serves me correctly, Nava is indeed a Jewish lady born & grown up in Israel, and educated in Hebrew, http://spaintalk.multimadrid.org/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/136...611009352#5611009352 ...and to my knowledge is indeed observant of the various traditions & customs etc, and is therefore more likely to adhere to Kosher food rules & practices, and I can't imagine that she would knowingly go out & eat pork, only by way of an extremely unfortunate mistake, and I hope & pray that it was not pork, as that would be unfortunate, but if it was, well a mistake is a mistake, and can be forgiven, as it was not done deliberately. Saludos.

Well okay, I accept that there must be plenty of Jewish people in the world who are not very observant of Kosher Law, but perhaps they are not so devout either, I have spoken about this with those members of my family in the UK who are Jewish, (and they are not particularly devout, or Orthodox by any means,) but have stated they would never eat pork, on the basis that they know it is a forbidden food item for Jews, and they believe that all Jews should at the very least observe & respect that particular requirement, if they are to consider themselves as practitioners of Judaism, and although I personally am not obligated to obey that particular commandment, I do however agree with it and think it a good idea, and I do avoid it as I have done for a long time, I have indulged of course, but am not under any obligation to refrain from it, as I have been a Christian for some time now, having parents of both faiths was difficult at times, but a decision was made eventually, but I now find that I have beliefs & practices based on both systems, sometimes the temptation to eat it is there, sometimes it’s not, it’s not easy resisting the temptation at times, especially in Spain where the eating of Ham (Jamon) is a very big practice, but I try my best, and can only hope that other Jewish people try to do likewise, and/or Judeo Christians. Tonight I am going to do some google-ing on the subject, I’ve already googled the name “Beth Din” and it came up with some fascinating articles, I can only suggest that if anyone really wants to know more about the eating of pork and Judaism, they do likewise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DayanReligious restrictions on the consumption of pork http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_restrictions_on_the_consumption_of_porkGood luck, Salud y Suerte
