OK! Is any of you interested in having a "tortilla-party" sometime this Saturday evening? If we can get a group (I'd say 4-5 girls....(or, let's not be sexist, folks  ) minimum), the place issue can be arranged, it's actually a kitchen large enough (unlike mine), that it'd seem we're really at an 'escuela de cocina'. Anybody? The plan roughly would be to meet up, go to the nearest supermarket to buy all the necessary stuff (potatoes, onions, oil, bread, WINE, etc....(zucchinis, chorizo, jam�n, peppers, etc are optional), and start to "'tortillear'" away (in the no-naughty sense Jer!!!) Then all of us can take turns in making our personal creations that we can take home.  |

I'm interested!! But apparently not many other people are. Let's e-mail each other about it, if you guys haven't made any other plans for Sat night we could still do it. If not enough people sign up to justify using a large kitchen then we could still do it at Jer's, right? Lena

Hi ladies and gents. I had not thought about THIS Saturday as the tortilla party and, alas, it will not be possibel at my place. Basically, our kitchen is in "obras". Last rainfall a few days ago we had a MAJOR problem with the rain gutter, it got clogged and the water decided to come into out kitchen so we have the kitchen cieling all soaking wet and holes in it to help it dry out and later replace the dry-wall  Not the best time to do any serious cooking in our kitchen. Trying too get it all straightened out before Thanksgiving. Maybe we could do the tortilla party next Sat. or the following, will check with "la jefa" Saludos, jer...

Well, The plans (if we were going to do it tomorrow), are very much 'en el aire', since poor Juliette wants to join us but she's 'muy malita' and Becks wants to join us but she might have to attend a 'compromiso familiar', I haven't contacted Candy and Desha just yet.... Lena, I'll keep you posted.  |

Yes Lena, you should have seen Ena and I "achicando" water at 4:30am before we got the kitchen waterfall under control pim, keep us all posted as I think Ena may also be interested in doing this tortilla thang as long as it is not in our lake... errrr... kitchen :jeje: If not, maybe we could do it at our place 2 Saturdays from now (Nov. 1st)??? You know the old saying..."Ring in November with Tortilla Espa�ola!" :jeje: Juliette would be better and Lena, you will be around, no?
