OK, I NEED that video, or at least some serious help. I just made some tortilla, and it is much more omelette than Spanish. I did get the flip!!!!

I am happy that everyone had a great time, and Candela, yum, I can taste your Sangria.

Aw I joined too late and missed out!

Maybe next time - I�ve only just discovered tortillas, they�re fantastic.

Can�t handle Sangria tho, far too many memories of holiday experience on Ibiza! :lo:

Once I buy a house, have someone else pay my mortgage, find a grad school program that's cheap and in Madrid, pay off my credit card bill, find a TEFl course and makes crap loads of money, I'm SO there!

Believe me, I want to come back more than you know. My birthday is on Monday (big hint hint) and hopefully people will send me tons of checks with large amounts. Then I will buy an airline ticket.

I miss you all too (yes Candela, even your secret spillng mouth Wink )

I asked a question on this thread on Nov., 13th:

What do you do with the spare fried potatoes when cooking a "tortilla de patatas"?

For those of you who have not slept since a week ago, here is the answer:

There is no strict proportion between eggs and potatoes, so it is 99% sure that you are going to have too much or too little of one of these ingredients,... so you may have to add more of one of them, or throw away the spare amount of the other one... So Spaniards tend to fry extra potatoes for the amount of eggs you're using,... if it happens that you really have more potatoes,... then you eat them apart from the tortilla (you may add ketchup or any sauce and get some "patatas bravas").
