Sorry LA my man, I have to go with Jo-Anne on this one.
I enjoy the atmosphere at the Museso del Jamn myself and always get my "PAN GALLEGO" there (Ok, so at times I have to knock down an old lady or 2 ).
LA, I disagree, the people in there who are just gazing open mouthed at the loads of "patas" (ham legs) hanging from the wall are certainly tourists and "guiris" (foreigners) but if you sit or stand at the bar for a while and give it a chance you will see that the regulars and those having a beer or wine are Spaniards, I swear!
p.d. hey Jo, if you come to Madrid this summer and check out the new MdJ right under my apartment without getting in touch with me to meet up I will ban you from my board for life (that goes for Austin as well). By the way, what happened to the little guy, he posted once months ago and has not been heard from since
Thanks for checking in little buddy. The only excuse that I will accept however for not hanging out here more often is that you have been studying hard and have not had the time
A microstar/powerpod ?
No idea what it is little man, if you explain it a bit I can check into it for you when I am out in the city I love
a microstar/powerpod is an outer shell of chocolate with a capsule inside. Inside the capsule is a footballer with some point on the base of it. The chocolate has a football design on it and has the word microstar across the front. They have them here in England.

P.S I now have a website and a photo on my profile (0)

Hey Austin, hmmmmmm.... here in Spain we have something like that called "Huevos Kinder" (Kinder Eggs) made by the German chocolate company "Kinder" but instead of a footballer inside they have silly little toys (never anyhting as cool as a footballer though) that come in parts and you put them together.
I have never seen the MicroStars here which is wierd considering how popular football is here.
Congrats on your website!
One last thing, I had to copy the photo you linked to on your profile and make it smaller, then put it on my server at www.multimadrid.com/ultimatespainboard/members/austin.jpg to use it in your profile because the photo you linked to was too big (my messagfe board has a limit on member photo sizes in profiles).
Hope you do not mind that I edited it a bit, at least I did not draw a mustache or donkey ears on you
