Hi everyone... While my family and I were in Madrid over the summer, we went to this really great Gallego restaurant on C/ Huertas and unfortunately, we can't remember the name. As soon as you walk in you can tell that the food is great. All the tables are barrels, and the menu is on a piece of wood. I LOVED the cheeses (tetilla ), and pimientos de padrn . Does anyone know the name of this place?!? Thanx! Marisa

Sure do! That would be Maceiras, on Huertas 66, "offspring" of the smaller and even cozier Maceira, on calle Jess 7 (which is just around the corner).
