Ok, I finally went to "Bangkok" (corner of Calle Arenal & Calle de los Bordadores) the other night for dinner with Ena and it was AMAAAAAAAAAAAZIIIIIIIIING!!!
More like a religious experience than a meal.
Seriously THE best asian food I have had since over a year ago when I had some great chinese food at a little place in Chinatown, NYC when I was last back home
So, Bangkok is WELL WORTH MULTIPLE VISITS in my book
Jill (one of the partners) at Banhkok was very nice and seemed to really make the diners feel at home.
It was also very well priced, Ena and I had a veritable Thai food orgy for about 40 Euros.
The portions were pretty big and we had:
1) tallarines fritos con pollo (fried noodles with chicken).
2) arroz frito con gambas (fried rice with shrimp, BIG ones

).
3) pollo con anacardos (chicken with cashews, more of a cashew sauce than actual cashews but it was AWESOME!).
4) langostinos al curry amarillo (jumbo shrimp in yellow curry).
and a supreme semi frozen chocolate cake ("tarta de chocolate") for desert
I AM going back SOON!
I can't wait to try the "men del da" to get a total feel for the place
Saludos,
