Alright everybody!

I was wondering if anybody knows some good salsa and rumba bars in the center of madrid.

Also i am looking for places where you can take salsa clases but also with madrilenos and not only tourists.

thank you very much.

Hola chickmunks, I have moved this topic to the "painting the town red forum" since the "jeremy's multimadrid.com" forum in ONLY for feedback on the site, suggestions and additions that I put on my web.

If you did a search on "salsa" you would have come up with this thread by member "totx" on salsa places in Madrid:
www.multimadrid.com/cgi-bin/jersbbucgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=3&t=000021

Maybe if you post on that thread, totx can also recommend a place for lessons as I have 2 left feet when it comes to dancing Frowner

Try the folks at Danzas del Mundo if you like. The teach all types of dance and have a website at www.danzasdelmundo.com . Tell Claudia (the owner) that I sent you.

I also did a Google.com search for "escuelas de danza madrid" (madrid dance schools) and came up with the following results page:
www.google.com/search?q=escuelas+de+danza+madrid&btnG=Google+Search

Good old trusty Google never fails Big Grin You are better off searching with Spanish search phrases if you want to find a school where the locals would go since if you use the seach terms in English you will most likely get the schools that aqre full of only "guiri" (foreigners).

Saludos,
jer...

Hi!.

In the message I wrote few days ago I tell you some places where you can practice salsa.
The Disco I prefer is Trinidad, in Tutor street. All the Discos I know are in this web site: http://www.todosalsa.com/lasalsadesde/madrid/salsotecas.htm

If you want to learn, you should take a look at http://www.todosalsa.com/lasalsadesde/madrid/profesores.htm Eeker

Last year I was learning at MaxLatino. It was small Frowner but cheap Big Grin
Circulo de Baile is more elegant and wide, but it is more expensive than MaxLatino.
Another friend of mine is learning at Madrid 47 and she enjoys it very much.

Bye!
