Hey all, I'm looking for info. on the 10k race this sunday, the 23rd of october in the Retiro Park. I looked online but couldn't find any details (start time, prices, etc.) -- anyone have any details? I know it starts at 10AM, but exactly where in the retiro I don't know. I'm also wondering if you need to pre-register or if you can just show up. Any info???

hey boom_shaka, just found this site...

can't vouch for it's accuracy but it shows a race on oct. 28th as the "MILLENIUM MARATHON MADRID" but not a 10k.

the website at http://www.carreraspopulares.com seems to have a good list of runs but yours is not on it frowner (at least i could not find it).

you sure you did not mess up on the date, there was a 10k called the "carrera del csic" on oct. 17th, see http://www.carreradelcsic.com. the list of runs for the comunidad de madrid is at http://www.clubatletismo.com/v4-calendario/v4-ver.asp?comunidad=9.

Boom_shaka,

You're out of luck, when I checked on the website yesterday it said that the registration was closed. Shame as I'd have been up for running that as well.


I spend most of my money on beer and women, the rest I just waste.
