The Teatro Real of Madrid (website) is celebrating the 5 year anniversary of its restoration by opening its doors to the general public for free tomorrow (Friday, October 11, 2002).

This is a special treat considering that one can normally only visit the theater via a limited guided visits from Tuesday to Sunday with a tour every half hour from 10:30am to 1:30pm and it costs 3 Euros per person.

Ok, I guess I am the only one into this topic Confused

Aside from the free tour of the theater today, visitors also get to see a free brief opera Big Grin

I am heading down now, the news says the lines are looooong (almost to the Royal Palace) Eeker but I am sure it will be well worth it.

Shall report back this evening.
