Hey Jo, aaaahhhh, I see you want your 15 seconds of fame then.
Well, you asked for it. Welcome to getting on the webcam 101

(just when you thought your college days were over).
Well, we begin by orienting orselves and getting our bearing in the
Plaza Mayor itself. From the camera capture below, we can plainly see that my view is of the horse's ass (typical!) and my apartment is located on the western face of the Plaza.
So, if one is wearing dark clothing, he/she may want to stand at the point indicated by the orange circle for better visibility due to the fact that the stone beneath one is white and the contrast will be greater.
On the other hand, if you are dressed in light colored attire, you should opt for the location a bit to the right marked by the blue circle for your light clothing will stand out better on the dark stone floor.
Important note: The PlazaCam ia Java Run and one can not simply right click and "save image as" to capture the image onto their PC, so for your loved ones back home to be able to save the screen image at the moment that you appear on the PlazaCam they must either:
a)View the non-java version of the webcam and then right mouse click ---> "Save image as". The link to the non Java version is below the camera image and reads "if you do not have a Java supporting browser, click HERE".
or
b)Click on the link that says "Click HERE to see the last 8 shots of the Plaza
" a bit below the live Plaza image and then choose the image where you appear (from the last 8 shots). Then they can right click ---> "Save image as" to get it onto their PC.
The best (and at the same time most embarassing

) thing to do is for you to stand there with your hands up in the air (like a moron

) for a good 2-3 minutes so that you appear in each one of the last 8 shots taken. By the way, you do not have to wave up and down like a flapping bird since the image is every 20 seconds and not real time, besides this may increase the risk of your getting arrested.
Enough said, final exam next week
Saludos,
jer...
