Okay, here's a tough one. My girlfriend Maria has to organize a party for a friend. They will be between 100 and 120 people, and at short notice are in need of a venue to host this shindig.

They want to have the entire space for themselves, at least for a few hours.
They are bringing a comedian, so need a sound system.
They want to be able to choose their own music, but have a DJ play it for them.
They want a price that includes food and drink.
Doesn't have to be fancy/high class. It's just friends getting together. But something relatively central would be nice.

Any suggestions???

Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

One of my students is a part owner of a bar/club in Malasaña, they have a big private room at the back of the club, which will easily accomadate 120 people, they don't do food though, but I'm sure they'd probably let you bring your own, it's near Alonso Martinez metro, so very central. When would it be for? If you're interested let me know and I'll ask him.

Rob.

P.S. We share the same surname brews Us Savage's get everywhere!!

I spend most of my money on beer and women, the rest I just waste.

Hi to my long lost brother. We are VERY interested. Please can you put us in touch with your friend? The party is for this Thursday, so time is of the essence.

I'm sure we could arrange for a nearby bar to supply the food. All we need is space for that many people, a selection of music, and a bar stocked with booze.

Maria can negotiate the price with your friend.

Thanks,
Steve

Ah, sorry Juliette. I meant to reply and thank you. Maria has spoken to the folk at El Hombre Moderno, and it looks like they are getting the gig. Great space, and reasonable drink and food discounts for such a big group.

Thanks for your help!!

Steve
