Hi Everyone!!, Hola Jeremy!! I'm visiting Spain for the first time this August and I wanted to know, what do you all know about Torrelodones? I have a friend who says he lives there. Is it situated in "the mountains"? Also, it's a possibility I may stay at the Occidental Miguel Angel for a week of my stay. What do you guys know about this hotel? Tell me EVERYTHING people!! Thanks

I was there some years ago doing some trekking from Torrelodones to Patones. I must admit that Torrelodones was a nice town. I expected to find an small town with nothing but some houses of the old town and some newer around, but the old town was nice and with some well cared historic buildings. Yes it's near the mountains, but around are only the lower mountains, and there you can't hardly feel the 'fresh' air of the mountains. It was very hot the day i went in summer.
