Are there clubs in Madrid geared for the older crowd(40s/50s)? I'd love to go out dancing at least once during our stay.

Thanks,
Chiqui

The ballrooms all seem to attract an older crowd, at least from what I've heard. They are located all over the city and are quite dressy. I like that dinner and dancing is still going strong here.

Enjoy your holiday,
Bonnie

that is true! the ballrooms attract 45 and older crowds. but i don't know the names. there is one very popular on in Plaza Opera. Kitty corner from the Teatro Royal. Underneath another theater. There is an alley snaking up to the left of that theater and on the left corner of the alley is a Vaca Argentina restaurant, and the door to the dance club is right across from that on the right.

Wish I knew the name for you.

My Spanish friend told me that it is a typical place for older couples to go dance the night away.

Good luck and post back here when you have details.
