Hi all,

I'm off to Madrid for a stag do this weekend and I was hoping some of you might be able to help with a few questions.

1 - Apart from sightseeing is there anything you could recommend we do during the day (saturday & Sunday), i.e. go Go-Karting, Mini Golf, Football match etc.
2 - Can you recommend any bars / clubs that we should go to on Friday & Saturday evening?
3 - What would you suggest is the best way of getting from the airport to our hotel near the Puerta Del Sol.
4 - Basicaly any other info you might think we'll find useful.

Many thanks

Andrew

Hi Andrew, have a great time my man, I am sure you will Big Grin

As per your questions:

1 - you have your reading cut out for you on this board, there are loads of suggestions, just have to look through it thoroughly.

As for football matches, next to impossible to get tickets to the Real Madrid games Eeker

Have not seen Go-karting or mini golf in Madrid in my 7 years here but if you are into the amusement park thing, check out the Parque de Atracciones at www.parquedeatracciones.es

2 - Hmmmm, you have not seen my PAINTING THE TOWN RED FORUM, study it well, print it out and take it with you and pay close attention to the thread HERE Big Grin

You will find that if you do some searching onthe board first, most of your questions have already been answered.

Saludos,
jer...

Jer,

Apologise for not searching first, I was a bit busy at work when I posted my original questions.

I've just had a look at the thread you provided and it looks like exactly what I need, Muchos Gracias

I assume that shirt, trouser and shoes are suitable dress for most clubs?

Cheers

Andrew

Hi Andrew, not a problem mi amigo, most people do not search but rather just pop in and post, I am used to it.

Hmmmmm... ya did it agian Big Grin , the dress issue has been beaten to death here onthe forums but can be hard to find the threads (no pun intendeds) to read. Try the one at www.multimadrid.com/cgi-bin/jersbbucgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=8&t=000042
