I have several friends coming out from London for a NYs bash in Madrid.

I predict that they will want to see the best nightlife that Madrid has to offer. They are all very much into clubbing - particularly techno, drum n base or hard house.

Ive not spent a NYs in Madrid. What is the order of events. Is there a party in Puerta da Sol? Anyone recommend a good NYs bash? Do I need to get tickets for clubs in advance? Whats the score people?

d_c

Hey d_c, New Year's in Madrid is a bash!!!

There are already quite a few threads on this topic so please do a [search] SEARCH [search] on "new year's eve", "new year's", etc... and yuo will get god results.

Always best to do some [search] SEARCHES [search] on the board first.

Saludos,

But I did - I cant find anything relating to this NY. Or are too many nights out finally taking their toll?

The latter, I think you have had too many nights out.

1) Go to my main page at http://www.multimadrid.com/ubbgrfx/ultimatebb.php

2) The click on the "search" link below where it says "jer's multimadrid spain message board".

3) Put in "new year's" and click "search" below the form.

You get a lot of direct and indirect threads talking about that night.

Saludos,

Sorry d_c, I was referring to the threads on New Year's in Madrid in general since each year is pretty much the same unless there is a special party like the millenium one in Sol a few years ago when the Euro came into play.

Ok, basically the threads that are about New Year's in Madrid are what you should go by.

Keep in mind that 99.9999999% of the clubs have private party's that you need to buy a ticket for (at extortionary prices) well before hand. Many smaller bars also do the same but after 3am or so many begin to let in the "general public".
