Hi all, though I would report on Fran's international night as I went last week with Candela, Rocco, Desha and Bill.
I was pretty impressed by the turnout. I went at 10pm and it was a bit empty but by 11:00pm it was hoppin'!!!
I will "ditto" on what Rocco and Candela have said about the gathering above and reiterate that it is not a tertulia at all, don't go to expect to practice English or Spanish in a mellow atmosphere, it is not like that. You will meet people from all over as well as Spaniards but the loud music, chatter, etc... are NOT conducive to practicing your language skills.
We had a great time overall and Candela, Bill and I hit 3 or 4 bars afterwards. I got home at 4am and god knows what time Candela and Bill styaed out until
While I will probably miss this week's International Night as we have our own get together on Thursday night and I have plans on Wed. (see
HERE for more), I will post later on to let you all know beforehand the next time I plan to go.
